In an attempt to overcome past trauma, a former artist moves to Cave City, Kentucky, and adopts a German shepherd set for behavioral euthanasia. As dog and owner fight to relearn trust and create safety for themselves, an earthquake unleashes mysterious—and menacing—cryptid-like creatures from deep within the depths of Mammoth Cave into the surrounding woods.
