The Ladies of Love and Horror
Meet the gals that keep the horror flowing and the productions from derailing in the midst of working day jobs and surviving classes. Making films is difficult, but telling meaningful stories and employing awesome creatives makes all the tears worth it and then some. The future of horror is definitely female here at Love and Horror.

Jamie Alvey (she/her)
Jamie Alvey is the Organizing Member of Love and Horror Productions. By day she is a college writing and English instructor and a writer, actress, and filmmaker at all other hours of the day. She has an extensive portfolio of academic/journalistic writing and creative works and is best known as the writer and star of the rape-revenge horror film Bystanders. She is a proud intersectional feminist as well as a loud neurodivergent woman.

Emily Fabrizio (she/her)
Emily Fabrizio is an accidental filmmaker and writer/editor with a passion for Latine representation both in front of and behind the camera. She found her love for film production at Love and Horror and hopes to produce more films. Her spare time is spent becoming more well-versed in horror, relaxing with copious amounts of dogs, and wrangling Jamie’s autism brain in the midst of corralling her own ADHD brain. That in itself is a full time job.

Callie Kirk (she/her)
Callie Kirk started her filmmaking career as an actress and makeup artist and found her way into producing not long after. Since childhood Kirk has had a vested interest in performing, makeup, and special effects. In addition to being a multi hyphenate talent on camera and behind, Kirk is a skilled photographer on the side. Known to be resourceful and scrappy, all she needs is a flashlight, some candles, and a dream to create indelible visual magic and then some.

Riley Norris (she/her)
Riley Norris was dragged into the filmmaking world like almost everyone in this outfit, by Jamie Alvey. Norris discovered an adept talent for producing and became a staple on the set during her internship. Immediately after graduation, she was offered a role in the company as a producer when and wherever she may be needed. As a part of company’s pilot internship group, she is an integral part of the vision of Love and Horror.
